It’s fair to say this mod in particular is one of the most comprehensive, including 25 maps, 5 extra game modes, 20 new heroes and over new 30 units that taken from multiple eras of the Star Wars universe, including many from the Knights of the Old Republic titles from BioWare and Obsidian. The Star Wars Battlefront Conversion Pack was released back in 2008, when the modding scene for Pandemic’s Battlefront 2 was at its peak. This prompted many to get on board with unofficially converting old mods to work with the new found multiplayer.
When GOG updated Star Wars: Battlefront 2 Classic, it was welcome news from many, but fans were left with many of their mods not working. This has since revived the modding scene, prompting an overhaul of one of the biggest mods to work alongside the official multiplayer. Last week, Disney announced that GOG was breathing new life into Star Wars: Battlefront 2 Classic by adding official multiplayer support.
